Rules and skills everywhere
Write rules and skills once, for every host, one connection or one workspace. Every agent gets them through Hydradeck, and each skill becomes a slash command. Nothing is written into the agents' own config.
Run every agent side by side, on your own machine or any SSH host, and see at a glance which are working, which need you and which are done. The terminals live on the host, so they keep running when you close the laptop.
A simplified, live copy of the window. The title bar counts what needs you across every workspace, and a sound plays when an agent needs you or finishes.
Hydradeck recognises each agent from its process and its screen, with no plugins or hooks to install. Every agent is in one of four states, and those roll up to its tab, its workspace and the title bar.
Thinking, editing or running commands. Hide its tab and it keeps working and reporting.
Asking a question or waiting for permission. These are listed first, by workspace.
Finished its turn and has something for you to look at.
Open and quiet. Idle Claude Code agents out of sight can hibernate to free memory and resume when shown.
Each host runs a small Hydradeck server that owns every workspace, tab and terminal. Disconnect, reconnect from another machine or restart the app, and everything is where you left it, screen and all.
Agents can open a diff for you to review, start a terminal, read what's on screen, keep their work in your Vault and run workflows. As a last resort they can click and type in the app like a person, without taking over your own mouse and keyboard.
Every tool is always allowed, allowed inside a session you grant, or asks each time. You choose which, and the title bar shows which agents hold a session.

When the job is done the card moves on by itself, a few at a time, in background terminals on the host. Runs carry on with the app closed.
When an agent has a question, the card says so and the title bar counts it with your other agents. Answer on the card, or open the agent's terminal to watch or step in. A list's job is a workflow you draw on a canvas: branch on conditions, route failures, loop with a round limit, or fan out over a list in parallel.

Each workspace shows its branch and worktrees with changed lines and how far ahead or behind it is. Commit, push, pull and create worktrees from the pane.
Review uncommitted changes, peek at a diff inline, stage, discard, commit and push, or ask an agent to review them.
Artifacts, notes and snippets for this workspace, this machine or everywhere. Agents keep their work here, and snippets run in a terminal with one click.
Ctrl+V a screenshot into a prompt. It's uploaded to the host and its path is typed in for you.
Files, a Monaco editor, a browser for dev servers, live server load, and tab presets for the agents you use. Themes, fonts, keyboard shortcuts and scale from 50% to 200%.
Pick Local, or any host from your ~/.ssh/config. Hydradeck sets itself up over a single SSH connection with your normal keys, and keeps itself up to date.
A small sh script installs Hydradeck's own Node.js under ~/.hydradeck/. If the host can't reach the internet, the app uploads it.
The app uploads this build's server. It runs as your user and talks to agents over a Unix socket only you can reach. There's no port to open.
Terminal I/O, file operations, pasted images and agents' MCP calls all travel over that one SSH connection.
The Windows installer and the Linux AppImage update themselves. New versions download in the background and the status bar offers to restart into them.

The builds aren't code-signed yet. On Windows, SmartScreen warns about an unknown publisher the first time. On macOS, right-click the app in Applications and choose Open.
Linux (glibc 2.28 or newer) or macOS, x64 or arm64. Remote hosts use your normal SSH setup, with key authentication or a password prompt.
